I didn’t become a Christian from my mother’s womb.
I didn’t become a Christian because my parents were from the South.
I didn’t become a Christian because my mother is Josephine and my father’s name is Paul.
I became a Christian from the day Jesus came into my heart by His Spirit.
I became a Christian that day, at age 12, when I confessed the Lordship of Jesus over my life.
I became a Christian because someone shared the Gospel with me.
Someone made it happen for me.
I always want to be that someone to another.
Wouldn’t you want to be that someone to a multitude of others who don’t know that the Gospel is Good news;
That the Gospel isn’t for “Christians” alone;
That the Gospel is God’s way of saying “I love you, I made you, I died for you, I’m here for you, I’m waiting for you”;
That the Gospel is the only way to understand and accept what Jesus has done for every single person on this planet;
If you have made Jesus Lord over your life, that’s awesome but there’s more to being a Christian than waiting for rapture;
And Jesus Himself told us what we should be about;
GO YE INTO ALL THE WORLD
But, if you have not made Jesus Lord over your life, there is no better time than now,
There’s no right time but now;
If you believe that Jesus died for you and God raised Him from the dead, then don’t waste another moment,
Tell the Lord that He is Lord over your life and ask Him to come into your heart by His Spirit.
Mean it with all your heart as you say,
“Lord God, I believe in Jesus Christ with all my heart. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord of my Life from this day. Thank you Lord for saving my life. I am now a Child of God.”
If you said the confession, today regardless of who gave birth to you, regardless of your former lifestyle and background,
You are now a Child of God.
You are now a Christian.
